près de = close to
loin de = far from

Salut! Aujourd'hui nous sommes mardi le 23 août, 2016!
Nous avons pris un petit quiz sur quelques verbes: aller, avoir et être, puis, nous avons corrigé les devoirs ensemble.
En classe, nous avons décrit Madame Schultz et nous avons discuté un peu sur ma vie :) et aussi nous avons discuté un voyage que j'aimerais bien faire avec mes élèves en France et en Italie!

Salut tout le monde!
Today the quizzes were returned and students made some corrections for a few points back. Students then received some copies and were asked to purchase the French 2 workbook from Bear Necessities book store at Creek. The cost of the workbook is $26, please let me know if help to purchase the workbook is needed.
Students began work with vocab list and revision packet completing ex. 1 on page R1 of the packet. We went over vocab and pronounced words, high lighting the fact that there is a difference between feminine and masculine adjectives. Adjectives in French must be altered according to number and gender!
Students then brought books to the classroom and we read over the vocabulary in the text.

Aujourd'hui c'est dimanche le 21 août, 2016 :)
Wow, first full week is over and there is so much more to review, so let's keep "cranking"!
I hope that you have a basic idea of the passé composé and please don't worry, it is a constant work in progress! Please remain open minded and ask questions, d'accord? Excellent!
I will continue to send out the ppts we review.
Please remember to work on the yellow review package that I distributed last week. It is due on Friday the 26th, so the end of next week.
